Asset Preservation Case Study Development and Training for Practitioners

Project Overview

One of the greatest challenges road network managers face is providing adequate asset preservation and maintenance services in the face of increasing traffic demand, budget constraints, and loss of experienced personnel within road agencies. To meet this challenge, WARRIP is developing comprehensive guidelines that provide greater clarity of the range of treatment options for preservation and renewal of road assets that support the optimal use of resources. This will inform the development of subsequent strategies and works programs, covering the full range of road operating conditions, performance issues, and solutions.
